I had an "emergency" catering a lunch situation and Bob saved the day. He made recommendations, had the order ready ON TIME and even offered to carry it to my car. He was a delight to work with AND the food was delicious!

I occasionally stop by to grab a few things since its near my Spa. The service is really nice and the selection are pretty qualify choices. I really enjoy trying new cheese most recently the smoked mozzarella and the truffle cheese. ( so YUm). I have also used their catering for a sandwich and fruit platter and it was good quality and nice value.

My experience was visiting store with someone who was shopping. Balducci's is out of my price range. But they do carry several organic products that I would; will buy there if I don't see them in other markets of Balducci's class.

Nice clean gourmet store. Lots of selections for cheese, seafood and other foods and the quality is quite high overall. The produce is expensive but you get what you pay for as it's very fresh. Love their helpful & courteous staff, fresh sushi, Italian bakery specialties, ice cream selection, sauces, exotic grains, and those little kosher licorice candies by the register. During the holidays they have an incredible selection of Panettone available and they are gorgeously packaged.

Very clean, quaint and cute supermarket with mostly Italian finds. This supermarket is located in an awesome plaza with lots of different shops. From wine to food, desserts to bath bombs, there's lots to do and it's a one stop shop. The supermarket layout is pretty basic and straightforward with enough variety but not too much to overwhelm you. This was my first time in Balducci's and it reminded me (in the best way possible) of a hybrid between DeCicco's and The Fresh Market - but of course, smaller. The owner of the supermarket brand is Albertsons (what a throwback lol!). Expect to buy quality foods, international finds, gourmet ingredients and they even offer catering. Their baked goods like cupcakes and cakes are all imported from other locations but I will say they're delish and great quality.

Balducci’s Heritage Inspires a Passionate Food Vision

Balducci’s started as a humble pushcart in Brooklyn in 1916, founded by Louis Balducci; the brand matured into New York’s first true specialty gourmet grocer, combining a butcher, fishmonger, deli, and greengrocer under one roof by the 1970s . Food critic Julia della Croce once said:

“Andy and Nina really taught New York how to eat and cook genuine Italian food…” .

This sets the tone for the Rye Brook market: an authentic, experience-driven journey rooted in nearly a century of food expertise.
